We are located at 8435 Crater Hill Road, Newcastle, CA 95658 in Northern California's famed Gold Country in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We have a wide selection of excellent quality trees and shrubs at prices which are often below the discounters like Wal-Mart and Home Depot. We have the largest selection of Japanese Maples in Northern California.  We also have many varieties of bamboo. We specialize in helping you choose the right plant for your yard, and offer FREE landscape advice to assure your needs are met. We have several demonstration gardens to help you see what the plants look like when they are grown and we have a beautiful Japanese garden with a 22,000 gallon koi pond. Fall Colors! November is the best month for autumn color in our nursery. Moonfires, Red Dragons, Bloodgoods, Fern Leaf Full Moons, Coral Barks, and other Japanese maples are turning brilliant shades of scarlet, crimson, gold, yellow, and orange. Full size maples, oaks, zelkovas, dogwoods, and other shade trees are turning their own bright fall colors.

Check out our Koi pond. After much renovation, the water is crystal clear! The Japanese gardens are stunning this year with the fall colors of Sumi Nagashi and other Japanese maples reflected on the water surface with brightly colored koi swimming beneath.
