Fruit Trees

We offer fruit trees that are specifically selected to do well in this area. Our trees are NOT bare root but in pots and are large and usually produce in the first or second year. If we do not have a specific variety in stock, we may be able to order it. We also have a mature fruit trees growing behind the nursery and customers may visit our orchard to see how large mature citrus and other fruit trees get and how they might fit in with their own garden. Our staff can offer you suggestions on choosing fruit and can help you with any questions that you have with growing fruit and citrus trees. In addition, we have extensive experience at utilizing fruit trees and edibles in the landscape and can suggest both fruit trees and an ornamental plant or two that will look good together in your yard.

Citrus:
Washington naval oranges-large fruit in early to mid-winter.
Robertson naval oranges-fruit in clusters, identical to Washington but 2-3 weeks earlier.
Valencia oranges-eat fresh or makes wonderful juice. Ripens in summer and will store on tree.
Owari Satsuma mandarins-ripens in early fall to late December. Easy to peel skin and almost no seeds. One of the hardier citrus.
Eureka lemons-standard lemon of market. Vigorous tree with abundant fruit nearly year round.
Variegated Pink lemons-variation of the Eureka lemon with variegated leaves and pink flesh.
Oroblanco grapefruit -Ultra sweet, large, seedless grapefruit.
Rio Red grapefruit-Large, sweet, seedless grapefruit with red-tinged flesh and red-pink skin.
